Player Bio

Born and raised in Oregon, Wes Gabrielsen is a pioneer of competitive pickleball, having started competing in 2011. Growing up, Wes played a variety of sports but particularly excelled in tennis. He went on to coach varsity tennis for nine years and served as an assistant coach at the collegiate level for five years. In 2021, he left his career as a high school teacher and coach and decided to become a full-time professional pickleball player and instructor.

Throughout his career, Wes has found great success in a variety of divisions and was inducted into the Pickleball Hall of Fame in 2022. Wes continues to coach and play, and recently worked with SelkirkTV on his series, "Winning with Wes".
