John Cincola played a variety of sports growing up, but ultimately stuck with tennis. He attended the University of Illinois-Chicago, where he played Division I tennis before discovering pickleball in 2018.

Since then, Cincola has earned many medals on the pro tour and competes in Major League Pickleball. In 2024, he was drafted to the Frisco Pandas.
