Selkirk Sport inks sponsorship with professional pickleball player Lauren Stratman

COEUR D’ALENE, IDAHO, DEC. 12, 2023 — Selkirk Sport is thrilled to announce its multi-year endorsement agreement with professional pickleball player Lauren Stratman.
Hailing from Santa Barbara, California, and currently residing in Austin, Texas, Stratman brings her exceptional talent to Team Selkirk, further solidifying the company's commitment to supporting top-tier athletes in the sport of pickleball. Stratman will exclusively use Selkirk products in tournaments starting in 2024.
After turning pro in 2022, Stratman quickly rose through the ranks. She is now a top-10 ranked player on the Professional Pickleball Association Tour in women’s singles and mixed doubles and is a top-20 ranked player in women’s doubles. She was also drafted to the Major League Pickleball Premier Level team the Texas Ranchers for the 2023 season.
In joining Team Selkirk, Stratman has chosen the Vanguard Power Air as her paddle of choice, which she often played with as a free agent.
"I’m excited to be part of the team,” Stratman said. “I have been all over the map this year playing with different paddles, and I always keep coming back to the Vanguard Power Air. It is my favorite paddle I’ve found so far, and it’s just so fun to officially be with Selkirk."
Before her pickleball career, Stratman played Division 1 college tennis at both Columbia University and Westmont College. While at Westmont, Stratman was a three-time NAIA First Team All-American, and was named a Golden State Athletic Conference Player of the Year for three consecutive seasons. On the PPA Tour, Stratman is a five-time silver and 12-time bronze medalist.
