If you are new to pickleball, or just looking for a new place to play, you know it can be difficult to find pickleball courts, lessons, and leagues near you. Here are some ways you can find a pickleball court near you:
PlayPickleball.com
PlayPickleball.com is a great place to search for pickleball near you, including pickleball courts, pickleball instructors, and pickleball lessons in your area.
You can search by instructor name, court location, or search on the PlayPickleball Places to Play map. PlayPickleball.com is a comprehensive list of pickleball courts and instructors that combines all the different pickleball platforms so you can search for all pickleball in your town in one place.
You can also search for indoor vs. outdoor courts and get an overhead view of what the outdoor courts look like.

Pickleball ambassadors
As pickleball grows, player passion also grows. So many players want to promote the sport and get new players into the game. As a new player, reaching out to your local ambassadors is a great way to learn more about pickleball courts near you.
USA Pickleball ambassadors

Selkirk advocates
The Selkirk pickleball advocate program was established in 2019, with the goal of developing and endorsing brand ambassadors who share a passion for pickleball and commitment to their local communities.
Selkirk advocates are influencers in their pickleball communities, and are a mix of pickleball instructors, retailers, 4.5+ players, and others. Selkirk advocates receive early access to the newest Selkirk pickleball technology and can sell Selkirk gear, but they are all also knowledgeable on pickleball in your area.
Selkirk advocates can help you navigate pickleball courts, instructors, and leagues in your local area.

Local pickleball groups
Many local communities will have a pickleball association or other groups of people who have a love of the sport and want to grow the community in your area. These associations will be both in-person and online (search Facebook to see if there is a “[Town Name] Pickleball” group).
Becoming involved with your local pickleball community will help you meet people who also play pickleball, learn which pickleball courts are in town, find the leagues that suit you best, and hopefully be invited to open play that is not advertised anywhere.
Schedule your own pickleball
Once you get a good overview of pickleball in your town — courts, leagues, instructors, facilities — you should not limit yourself to only scheduled pickleball play. You can learn to schedule your own! Reach out to your local pickleball venues and learn their processes for renting a court.
Then you can choose who to invite and what times work best for you, so you can never say that there is not enough pickleball near you.
