Selkirk Sport acquires Pickleball Coaching International to elevate pickleball coaching standards worldwide

COEUR D’ALENE, IDAHO — July 15, 2024 — Selkirk Sport, the leading manufacturer of performance pickleball paddles and accessories, is excited to announce its acquisition of Pickleball Coaching International, the premier organization for pickleball coaching education and resources. 

Since its founding in 2014, Selkirk has remained committed to growing the game of pickleball, and with this acquisition, will support enhanced coaching and training for players of all levels.

PCI is renowned for its comprehensive online courses and certification programs, which reach pickleball coaches globally. By integrating PCI's extensive resources and innovative coaching tools into its offerings, Selkirk aims to empower coaches worldwide.

Building a stronger foundation for pickleball coaches and players

Selkirk and PCI will combine their expertise to provide extensive and effective pickleball coaching resources. PCI’s current offerings include a range of educational materials, including a catalog of more than 70 videos, audio files, lesson plans and technical fundamentals tutorials, all designed by renowned coach and PCI founder Mark Renneson.
